Giuli Alasania: My Son Doesn’t Accuse the Georgian Gov’t of Poisoning

Mikheil Saakashvili’s mother Giuli Alasania claims that the ex-president does not accuse the Georgian government of poisoning.

“My son does not accuse Georgians or the Georgian government of poisoning. He believes that if a fatal poisoning has indeed taken place, in it are the traces and style of a foreign power that regards my son as an enemy. These tests were done by the best laboratory, in California, US, which is considered the number one laboratory. The analysis was also done by the best toxicologists. They are very careful about their reputation and will not take this issue lightly. In any case, this is a provocation against the Georgian state. I call on everyone to refrain from reaching out for political purposes and writing political points on my son’s deteriorating health,” said Alasania.

She claimed that the issue of Mikheil Saakashvili’s life and death is being resolved.

“I ask everyone to pay attention to the mother’s position and show maximum restraint. My son is not going to continue participating in Georgian politics, he has made this statement many times and I hope for a fair decision. Let’s remember that any speculation hurts my son’s already very deteriorated health, and please respect the dignity of my son and our family,” she added.

According to the Empathy Center, the third president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, has about 10 diagnoses, which makes his imprisonment unsuitable.

As stated in the report of the center, Mikheil Saakashvili has a fever of unknown etiology, anorexia, rapid weight loss, pain in his muscles, joints and bones, scratch marks on his body, and muscle spasms, which may be an unidentified infectious process and/or results of possible intoxication.
