The Georgian national football team returned to Georgia this morning, landing at Tbilisi International Airport at 9:15. They were greeted by thousands of fans.
Today, at 22:00, an event called “Georgia’s thanks to the football team” will be held at Freedom Square.
In their debut at UEFA EURO 2024, the Georgian national football team faced Turkey and lost with a score of 1:3. In their second match against Czechia, the game ended in a draw 1:1, and then the Georgian team defeated Portugal with a score of 2:0. On June 30, Georgia faced Spain and lost with a score of 1:4.
