Parliamentary elections in Georgia have begun, with various political leaders casting their votes.
President Salome Zurabishvili secured her vote early morning at Public School No. 67. She expressed her commitment to building a ‘new Georgia,’ a vision she has pursued for more than two decades.
Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze also voted, and encouraged all political parties to peacefully accept the results from the Central Election Commission (CEC), emphasizing his belief that the radical opposition will not succeed.
Zurab Japaridze from the ‘Coalition for Change’ described the day as historic, determining Georgia’s future political path.
Meanwhile, Giorgi Vashadze of ‘Unity – National Movement’ urged all citizens to vote for maximum participation, pointing out that today’s result will be a turning point for Georgia.
