Georgian carrier Georgian Airways will begin operating regular direct flights between Tbilisi and Batumi from June 25, offering passengers a 45-minute journey between Georgia’s capital and the Black Sea resort city.
Airline says flights on the Tbilisi–Batumi–Tbilisi route will be operated four times a week — on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
The flight schedule is as follows:
Tbilisi – Batumi: 09:00–09:45
Batumi – Tbilisi: 19:30–20:15
The airline said the new service is aimed at facilitating travel during the summer season, providing a fast and convenient connection between the two cities.
Batumi, located on Georgia’s Black Sea coast, is one of the country’s most popular summer destinations, attracting both domestic and international visitors. The launch of additional flights is expected to support tourism and increase travel options during the peak holiday period.
Tickets are available through the airline’s sales offices, partner travel agencies, its official website, and mobile application.
