The Georgia-Uzbekistan Business Forum is underway in Tbilisi, bringing together government officials and business representatives from both countries.
The event was opened by Georgia’s Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mariam Kvrivishvili, and Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade, Laziz Kudratov.
Around 70 Uzbek companies are participating in the forum, representing sectors including construction, logistics, agriculture, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, textiles, and other key industries. Approximately 250 Georgian companies are also taking part.
The forum features presentations on investment opportunities in Georgia and Uzbekistan, while the concluding session will include B2B meetings between participating businesses.
The event is organized by the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Investment Promotion Agency of Uzbekistan.
