Georgia Starts Vaccination with Pfizer

Georgia has started vaccinating with Pfizer today.

The Ministry of Health says citizens will be able to be immunized with Pfizer at the first stage in 7 medical institutions.

Citizens were able to register for the Pfizer vaccination on July 14, from 15:00, however, there were delays and technical shortcomings, due to which many citizens couldn’t complete the reservation process.

The Ministry explained that this was caused by high demand from citizens.

Reportedly, at this stage, 30 brigades are involved in the vaccination process, and 80 more medical facilities will be gradually involved in the immunization process, with at least 240 brigades.

The agency says 28,000 doses have already been delivered, while additional doses will gradually arrive in Georgia in July.
