Georgia reported 2 058 coronavirus cases, 529 recoveries, and 22 deaths on Saturday, reports the Press Service of the government.
As part of the intensive testing, 18,149 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 11,095 antigen testing and 7,054 PCR testing.
The Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 808 COVID-19 cases within the last 24 hours.
Based on the regions, the new cases are distributed as follows: 808 cases were reported in Tbilisi, Adjara – 107, Imereti – 363, Kvemo Kartli – 150, Shida Kartli – 165, Guria – 36, Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 183, Kakheti – 131, Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 62, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 38, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 15.
The total number of confirmed cases now stands at 238 086, among them 224 718 people recovered and 2 750 died.
