For the first time in Georgia – Cellfie mobile perfect 5G was successfully launched in Tbilisi, in Gudauri and Bakuriani.
A new stage in the development of mobile technologies has begun in Georgia – Cellfie Mobile, a Georgian mobile operator that serves more than 1.3 million customers throughout Georgia, celebrated the introduction of 5G technology in the field of advanced telecommunications today at an official ceremony in Gudauri.
5G technology, which offers users fundamentally new service opportunities, is already fully available in Gudauri and Bakuriani, as well as in two districts of Tbilisi – Didube and Didi Dighomi.
5G network of Cellfie was activated in pilot mode in Tbilisi on November 21, and more than 5,000 users have already used it.
Cellfie introduces 5G with equipment from the world’s leading technology company, Nokia, with which the contract was signed in August of this year.
Within the framework of the contract, Cellfie is developing 5G throughout Georgia. Cellfie also owns the license to use the frequency resources necessary for the successful and complete implementation of the 5G network.
Cellfie is an advanced digital mobile operator in Georgia, which is distinguished by the introduction of leading technological innovations in the market. The company’s decision to introduce the first 5G in Georgia is in full agreement with strategy of Cellfie.
Along with upgrading and expanding the existing network, Cellfie is actively continuing to build the 5G network.
With the introduction of a new generation of wireless Internet technology, which will maximize the speed of mobile internet and minimize interruptions, together with the communication sector, such important fields as: health care, education, business, agriculture, infrastructure, etc. will move to a completely new level.
