The Tbilisi City Council approved a project for skyscrapers near Heroes’ Square. The project was supported by 23 deputies, while 5 were against it. Two 50-story skyscrapers will be built near Laguna Vere.
Discussion of the project took place today in the background of noise and controversy.
The opposition claims that the construction will eventually kill Tbilisi’s main transport hub and cause irreparable damage to the capital.
The opinion of the opposition was not taken into account by Georgian Dream.
