Deputy Director Mileri Lagazauri resigns from special tasks department

Deputy Director of the Special Tasks Department, Mileri Lagazauri, has resigned from his position.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs says Lagazauri made the decision to step down voluntarily.

Notably, his resignation follows the recent departure of Zviad Kharazishvili (known as “Khareba”) from the role of Director of the Special Tasks Department. He has since been replaced by Roman Kartsivadze, the Ministry said.
