The Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development announced that Georgia has dispatched a new humanitarian shipment to Ukraine as per an order from Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
The assistance was organized by JSC Georgian Energy Development Fund and consists of nine power generators of different types and capacities, intended to support essential infrastructure. The ministry mentioned that the fund completed both the procurement and transportation process within the agreed timeframe.
Upon arrival, the shipment will be transferred to the Georgian Embassy in Kyiv which will oversee its delivery to Ukrainian recipients. The cargo is being transported by land and is expected to reach Ukraine within the next few days. The assistance is being provided free of charge.
