3km Bus Lane Marked on Rustaveli Avenue

A special lane for buses was marked on Rustaveli Avenue. The length of the bus lane is three kilometers. 20-kilometers of exclusive bus lane have been set up in the capital this year.

Lanes allocated for the unimpeded movement of buses have already been marked on Anjaparidze, Melikishvili, Kostava, Pushkin, Baratashvili, Aleksidze, Vekua, Khizanishvili, Iona Vakeli, Cholokashvili, Kalandadze, Kandelaki, Shartava, and Vakhtang Gorgasali streets. Also on Chavchavadze, Pekin, Agmashenebeli, Robakidze (partially) avenues, and Baratashvili Rise.

Tbilisi City Hall reports that in the future, bus lanes will be marked at the following streets: Politkovskaya, Kavtaradze, Tamarashvili, Abkhazia, Holbrook, Khmelintsky, Javakheti, Chachava, Dadiani, Tsinamdzgvrishvili, Gagarin, Eristavi, on the streets of Beliashvili, Balanchine, Mirian Mepe, Petritsi and Archil Mepe, Queen Ketevan, Vazha-Pshavela, Moscow, Queen Tamar, Tsereteli, Gelovani, Robakidze (fully), Parnavaz and Guramishvili avenues, as well as on the Kakheti Highway.

This plan is under development and some changes might occur, notes Tbilisi City Hall.
