The agreement between the government of Georgia and the government of the Kingdom of Spain on the mutual recognition and exchange of national driving licenses came into force on September 29.
Based on the agreement, holders of a valid driver’s license issued by the parties will be able to obtain a driver’s license of equal strength in the state of their legal residence without passing a theoretical or practical test.
Georgia has signed similar agreements with Ireland and the Republic of Greece.
