Mikheil Sarjveladze has been appointed as the new Minister of Health. Sarjveladze was introduced by the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, at a briefing held in the government administration.
Mikheil Sarjveladze replaces Zurab Azarashvili.
Zurab Azarashvili, Georgian Minister of IDPs, Labor, Health and Social Affairs, resigned on March 1. PM Kobakhidze said the medical community had recently expressed discontent over communication with Azarashvili.
