Economy Minister: WizzAir to Resume Flights from Kutaisi at the End of March

Wizz Air is to resume flights from Kutaisi International Airport to Barcelona, Berlin, and Vienna.

As the Ministry of Economy stated, for the first time during the existence of Kutaisi International Airport, it will also be possible to get to the Middle East by regular direct flights. From December 16, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi will operate regular direct flights to Abu Dhabi twice a week.

During the winter navigation season, direct regular flights from Kutaisi International Airport will also be resumed to three European cities: Barcelona, Berlin, and Vienna.

Direct regular flights between Georgia and Spain, which were suspended at the start of the pandemic, will resume once a week from November, in the first phase.

As for Vienna, flights will resume twice a week from November.

Flights to Berlin will be available from Kutaisi, during the winter navigation season, once a week.

As Georgian Airports Association notes, new destinations will be added, taking into account the epidemiological situation.
