2571 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in Georgia, 60 people have died, 3668 people have recovered.
A total of 570,493 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Georgia since February 2020, of which 527,337 have recovered and 7977 have died.
The newly confirmed cases are divided by region as follows:
918 cases were confirmed in Tbilisi, Adjara – 224, Imereti – 414, Kvemo Kartli – 195, Shida Kartli – 172, Guria – 89, Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 204, Kakheti – 242, Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 49, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 49, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 15.
As of September 8, a total of 1 366 678 vaccinations were administered in Georgia. 856,956 people were vaccinated with one dose, and 509,722 were fully vaccinated.
