Member of Georgian National Judo Team Wins Grand Slam

Lukhum Chkhvimiani, a member of the Georgian national judo team, won the Grand Slam in Kazan, Russia.

Chkhvimiani defeated Robert Mshvidobadze in the final match. The current world champion Georgian judoka defeated the representatives of Cameroon, Portugal, the Czech Republic, and Russia before reaching the final.

Kazan will host the Grand Slam tournament on May 5-7.
