US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin will visit Georgia, Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said at a briefing.
The visit to Georgia is part of the European tour. In addition to Georgia, he will visit two other Black Sea countries, Ukraine and Romania.
Kirby added that this important visit will end with the NATO Defense Ministerial in Brussels.
John Kirby’s has not specified the exact date of Lloyd Austin’s visit. The Brussels Ministerial will be held on October 21-22, accordingly, the US Secretary of Defense is expected to visit Georgia next week.
