The export price of Georgian wine has increased. The main exporting country for wine is Russia, accounting for 65.7% of exports. This year, Georgia sold $157.3 million worth of wine in the Russian market.
In November 2023, among Georgia’s export products, natural grape wines rank second. According to official statistics, this year, 83.1 tons of wine worth 239.3 million US dollars were sold from the country. From January to November 2022, the export of wine from Georgia was 94.7 tons worth 231.9 million US dollars. Compared to the same period in the previous year, the value of exports increased by 3.2%, while the volume decreased by 12.2% compared to the previous year.
