Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze responded to the landslide on the road connecting Vashlijvri and Nutsubidze, saying that the initial data will be available in the coming days.
“The causes are still unknown. These are not the processes that started today and yesterday. These are the processes that have been going on for years, and as soon as we realized that there was a danger, preventive measures were taken, with Machavariani Street being blocked bilaterally. Designing is underway. We are waiting for specialists from Germany on Monday, and work will begin in the near future to open the road as soon as possible and make it safe to move on,” the Tbilisi Mayor said.
