Statistics: 35 workers died and 330 were injured in the workplace in 2022

In 2022, 35 workers died and 330 were injured in the workplace, according to the information obtained by InterPressNews, requested from the Labour Inspection Service.

According to the agency, all 35 people who died as a result of the accident in the workplace were men. As for the injured, 69 women and 261 men were injured.

“In the reporting period of 2022, 3 mass accidents were reported in the workplace. Of the injured, 87 cases were classified as serious accidents (women 11; men 76); 243 cases were classified as accidents of medium severity (women 58; men 185)”, reads the information.
