The sovereign flag of Georgia has been hoisted on the building of the Government Administration on the day of the Soviet occupation.
101 years have passed since the Soviet occupation. In connection with the mentioned date, the sovereign flags of Georgia have been lowered on the administrative buildings and overseas diplomatic missions of Georgia.
February 25 is declared as the Day of Soviet Occupation in line with the Resolution of the Parliament of Georgia.
