A ‘silent rally’ organized by singer Gia Gachechiladze is taking place today, April 9, in Europe Square in Tbilisi.

“This is Georgia, which will not die under any circumstances, no matter how much they try to torture, beat or shoot us, and do you know why? It is the Lord and these mankurt do not realize that you cannot kill the Lord,” the singer addressed the gathered citizens.

The organizers of the rally founded the “Day of Eternity of Georgia”, as the singer Gachechiladze notes, and on this day, citizens will be able to come out and express their opinion.

“It is unacceptable for us that the agenda of the entire political spectrum and media outlets has missed the attitude and desires of the people. We want a government that ensures peace, protects the public interest and concentrates on real problems,” the protesters said.
