School uniform sales for first-grade pupils will begin across Georgia on September 1 and continue through September 14, Educational Resources LLC announced, as school uniforms become mandatory in public schools.
The agency said uniforms for pupils in grades 2 to 6 will be sold during the second and third phases, from October through December.
Educational Resources Director Mikheil Kuparadze visited the ETON KIDD manufacturing facility, where he reviewed the school uniform production process, manufacturing technologies and quality control standards.
Educational Resources said that, following a market research process, Glory Textile Industry, a Chinese company registered in Georgia, was selected to produce school uniforms for the country. The company is working in partnership with Chinese manufacturer Jiangsu SUMEC ETON KIDD Brand Management.
School uniforms will be delivered from China to Georgia in three stages: the first shipment is scheduled for August 25, the second for October 15, and the third for November 30.
