The Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, Nikoloz Samkharadze, held a meeting with the EU Ambassador, Pawel Herczynski, to introduce the 2023 plans of the Committee.
The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Chair, Giorgi Khelashvili. The key topic of the agenda envisaged the main directions of cooperation between the Committee and the EU-Georgia Office, and aspects of the EU integration.
Samkharadze introduced the plans and priorities of the Committee for 2023 and overviewed the activities scheduled for the realization of parliamentary diplomacy.
The parties touched upon the situation in the region and the Russian aggression against Ukraine, underlining the key role of Georgia in enhancing regional peace.
