Former President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili’s lawyer Shota Tutberidze visited Saakashvili at the “Vivamedi Clinic,” after which he stated that Saakashvili’s health had deteriorated.
“Despite the fact that Mikheil Saakashvili has been in the clinic for several days, no positive changes in his health have been observed. Once again we ask for the experts to assess his condition from a medical point of view, and evaluate how effective the treatment is. In this situation, I cannot imagine him being able to participate in the trials. He cannot move, he is very weak, and he has muscle spasms. He said he had lost a lot of weight, and could not take any food, only liquids. The medical index will probably deteriorate,” Tutberidze said.
