The President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili expressed her gratitude towards Hungary for the evacuation of 6 Georgian citizens from Kabul.

The President of Georgia posted on her Twitter page: I want to express my sincere gratitude to Hungary for helping evacuate six Georgian citizens out of Kabul. This show of solidarity and partnership in this difficult time is very important.

I’m confident that the remaining Georgians in Kabul will come back home safe very soon.

Today, on August 18, six Georgian citizens were brought home from Afghanistan. They were employed by an American company, and left for Georgia on a Hungarian flight.
