“Ojakhuri” Expanding Abroad with Delicious Jams, Compotes, and Pickles

The renowned “Ojakhuri” company has recently experienced a remarkable surge in demand for its high-quality products. However, due to ongoing hostilities in the Ukrainian market, the company has encountered limitations in shipping its goods to Ukraine. As a result, “Ojakhuri” has strategically shifted its focus to other markets and successfully expanded its sales presence in several countries, including Greece, the Czech Republic, Canada, Germany, Latvia, and Australia.

The exceptional popularity of “Ojakhuri” products abroad can be attributed to their assortment of delectable jams, refreshing compotes, and flavorful pickles. These offerings have captivated the taste buds of customers in different corners of the world. Salome Neparidze, the marketing manager of the company, revealed that before the conflict, over 30% of their product exports were directed to Ukraine. However, in light of the prevailing circumstances, shipments to Ukraine have experienced a decline. In response, the company swiftly adapted its approach and redirected its efforts toward exploring alternative markets. Consequently, “Ojakhuri” has made considerable strides in establishing a strong presence and capturing the hearts of consumers in Greece, the Czech Republic, Canada, Germany, Latvia, and Australia. Additionally, a portion of their products is also being exported to Russia. Looking ahead, the company aims to reinforce its focus on expanding its export endeavors even further. Their primary objectives revolve around maintaining the superior quality of their products, broadening their assortment, creating innovative offerings, and providing both Georgian and international customers with the delightful experience of savoring “Ojakhuri” dishes.

One of the key factors contributing to the success of “Ojakhuri” is their commitment to using locally sourced ingredients from Georgia. The company takes pride in the fact that a significant portion of its manufacturing process involves the processing of products grown within the rich agricultural landscapes of Georgia. This approach not only ensures the freshness and authenticity of their offerings but also supports local farmers and promotes sustainable practices.

Among the wide range of products exported by “Ojakhuri,” some of the most sought-after items include their luscious white cherry, tantalizing walnut, and watermelon jams, tangy green tomato and garlic pickles, and their classic and spicy sauces that add an extra kick to any meal.

Last year, the company achieved considerable success in the international market, exporting jams, compotes, and marinades with a total value of 100,000 euros. Having been founded in 2010, “Ojakhuri” has steadily grown into a prominent enterprise that has become synonymous with exceptional taste and uncompromising quality. Presently, the company employs a dedicated team of 70 individuals who play a crucial role in the production, distribution, and overall success of “Ojakhuri.”

As “Ojakhuri” continues to expand its global footprint, the company remains committed to its core values of excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction. With an unwavering focus on delivering top-notch products made from the finest ingredients, they aim to captivate the palates of customers worldwide and foster a lasting appreciation for the rich flavors of Georgian cuisine.
