Moldova has opened the sixth cluster of negotiations in its bid to join the European Union, marking another important milestone on its European integration path, the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.
Ministry says the sixth cluster, External Relations, covers foreign, security and defence policy, as well as international development cooperation and humanitarian assistance.
“Every step forward brings Moldova closer to joining the European Union and to a safer, stronger and more prosperous future for our citizens,” the ministry said in a statement.
