Georgian Dream subordinated and stopped the justice bodies – it governs the country according to the rules typical of the criminal world – we appeal to the authorities: to return the country to the constitutional framework, – Natia Mezvrishvili, the deputy chairman of the Gakharia for Georgia party, said at a briefing held at the party’s office.
Mezvrishvili stated that “representatives of the government justify violence and instead of preventing it, they call for retaliatory violence”.
“Georgian Dream subordinated and stopped the justice bodies – it rules the country according to the rules typical of the criminal world. Not a single agency reacts to an obvious crime. 10 days have passed since we applied to the Special Investigation Service, and the service sent the application for persecution for opinion, expression and political activity to the agency that directly participates in the persecution organized by the state. In violation of the law, the head of the service is not declared in the parliament.
Georgian Dream has included party probe groups, together with official forces, in systematic violence, which not only abuse people, but also promote criminal discrimination against each other.
Government officials justify violence and instead of preventing it, they call for retaliatory violence.
We appeal to the Special Investigation Service and the Prosecutor’s Office to use the mandate given by the law, to stop carrying out the illegal instructions of the party and to stop the violence of the government. Inaction is complicity in crime.
