During a press conference, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze reiterated Georgia’s commitment to European integration, emphasizing the government’s goal of joining the EU by 2030. Kobakhidze asserted that the country can achieve this goal peacefully, through constructive means, rejecting political tools of coercion and division.
“Our approach to this goal is through peace, dignity, and prosperity, not blackmail. We will not tolerate manipulation or attempts to divide our society through artificial means,” the PM said.
Kobakhidze further stated that the government will take all necessary steps to facilitate Georgia’s EU accession within the desired timeline.
