In April 2026, 6,234 vacancies were published on jobs.ge, marking an 8.1% decrease compared to March 2026 and a 5.2% decline compared to April 2025, according to PMCG Research Center’s “Employment Tracker”.
The report says the largest monthly decline was recorded in the Logistics, Transport and Distribution category, down 12.1%, while the smallest drop among major sectors was in Information Technology and Programming, down 6.4%.
On an annual basis, the IT and Programming category saw the sharpest decline, down 17.0%, while the only major category to post growth was Sales and Procurement, up 5.7%.
PMCG said a total of 19,403 vacancies were published on jobs.ge between February and April 2026, up 5.8% compared to the same period in 2025. It added that the sales and procurement category made the largest contribution to this increase.
From February to April 2026, 5,017 vacancies were published in sales and procurement, up 12.8% year-on-year. In the same period, 4,194 vacancies were posted in finance and statistics, up 11.7%, while 4,443 were published in administration and management, up 5.6%, the report said.
