Geostat published its preliminary estimates for 2024, which report that Georgia’s GDP, compared to 2023, increased by 12.0%.
The average growth rate amounted to 10.0% for the first eight months of 2024.
Primary sectors stimulating the growth include the professional, technological, and research-based fields, as well as construction, insurance and financial services, communication, and trade.
The report also illustrated a decrease in the energy sector.
