Passenger and cargo trains will not run in the country on August 9-11, Georgian Railway Company reports. The movement will be fully restored from August 12.
Georgian Railway explained that it intends to carry out modernization and rehabilitation of several substations.
The $249-million project aims to improve safety and reduce travel time. New bridges and tunnels will be built and the communications network will be upgraded.
