Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has arrived in Yerevan to participate in the 8th Summit of the European Political Community, the Government Administration of Georgia reported.

The head of government was welcomed at Zvartnots International Airport by Alen Simonyan, Speaker of the Parliament of Armenia.

As part of the summit programme, Kobakhidze is scheduled to attend an official reception hosted in honor of participating leaders by Vahagn Khachaturyan and Nikol Pashinyan.

The Georgian Prime Minister is accompanied by a delegation that includes Maka Bochorishvili, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, as well as Levan Zhorzholiani, Head of the Government Administration.

The European Political Community summit brings together leaders from across the continent to discuss key political, security and economic issues, with regional cooperation and stability expected to feature prominently on the agenda.
