Georgian Citizens to Leave Afghanistan Today

All 16 Georgian citizens in Afghanistan are to return to their homeland today.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports that they were safely transported to the airport, a NATO military base, this morning. They will fly to Dubai and will probably arrive in Georgia today. The flight to Dubai is being provided by the British.

Six Georgian citizens have already returned home from Afghanistan.
