As registration opens for the third season of the “Women in Tech Mentorship Program,” women across Georgia have a new opportunity to build careers in the fast-growing technology sector.

The initiative empowers women aged 18 and above from all municipalities of Georgia by equipping them with highly demanded digital skills, professional mentorship and career development support. A total of 650 beneficiaries and 150 mentors are expected to take part in the program’s third season.

The five-month program, running from July to November 2026, focuses on strengthening women’s participation in technology fields where they remain underrepresented. Participants will be able to choose from several programs, including:

  • Front-end Development
  • Cybersecurity
  • Graphic Design
  • UI/UX Design
  • Digital Marketing

Beyond technical training, the program places strong emphasis on career growth and entrepreneurship. Beneficiaries will take part in additional sessions designed to enhance professional development, employability skills and entrepreneurial thinking.

A main goal of the initiative is to reduce gender inequality in Georgia’s rapidly expanding tech sector. By catering courses to industry needs and partnering with both public and private stakeholders, the program seeks to create pathways to employment for women. Organizers wrote that active mentorship is a main component of the project. Participants will engage in regular mentoring sessions and networking opportunities.

Selection process

Applicants must complete an online application form and undergo a general and technical skills assessment, as well as an English language evaluation (minimum B1 level). In cases where candidates receive equal scores, motivation letters will be reviewed to determine final selection.

Motivation letters are expected to explain:

  • Why the applicant wants to join the project
  • Why they selected a specific tech field
  • How participation will influence their future career plans

Final participants will be selected based on ranking results and available quotas in each track.

Important dates

  • Registration opens: February 6, 2026
  • Registration deadline: May 1, 2026 (16:00)
  • Program duration: July–November 2026
