7947 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in Georgia, 31 people have died, and 5550 people have recovered.
A total of 1,059,392 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Georgia since February 2020, of which 967,585 have recovered and 14,732have died.
The newly confirmed cases are divided by region as follows:
4496 cases were cinfimred in Tbilisi, Adjara – 1352, Imereti – 857, Kvemo Kartli – 282, Shida Kartli – 266, Guria – 100, Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 215, Kakheti – 180, Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 98, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 93, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – eight.
2,658,343 people have been fully vaccinated so far.
On January 23, 9696 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Georgia, 5408 patients recovered and 28 died.
