As ADB prepares for the 57th Annual Meeting in Tbilisi, its Georgia Resident Mission organized a three-day knowledge-sharing event at ADB headquarters in Manila with participation of Georgia’s some of the leading private companies.
The event “Georgia’s private sector: A Story of Resilience” gathered successful Georgian companies – TBC Bank, Georgia Capital, Adjara Group, Rooms Hotels – ADB management and staff to discuss Georgia’s macroeconomics, financial sector and capital markets, sustainable finance in renewable energy and water sectors, regenerative agriculture, and creating inclusive and livable cities.
As the ADB stated, the parties exchanging knowledge on how Georgia’s experience and ADB’s contribution to the market can benefit other developing member countries (DMCs) private sector shift.
The event was concluded with a gastro-conference showcasing Georgian culture and hospitality and polyphonic singing.
