The folklore hall of the National Library of Georgia was named after Anzor Erkomaishvili.
Anzor Erkomaishvili was a Georgian musician, folklorist, honored figure of Georgian art. He died on March 31, 2021, as a result of complications caused by COVID-19.
“The beautiful folklore hall of the National Library, which we opened with this great figure, will be called the Anzor Erkomaishvili Folklore Hall from today,” said Giorgi Kekelidze, director of the National Library.
