Demonstration ‘Free Saakashvili’ Planned outside Rustavi Prison

A rally demanding the release of the former President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, will be held today, on October 4, at 15:00, near Rustavi Prison.

Members of the United National Movement, including Mikheil Saakashvili himself, are announcing the rally on social media.

Mikheil Saakashvili was arrested in Georgia on October 1, the day before the local elections. It is still unknown where and under what circumstances Mikheil Saakashvili entered Georgia, who was wanted by the Georgian authorities on two convictions.
