The official statement from the broadcaster itself reveals that David Kezerashvili is no longer the owner of the TV company Formula, having transferred his shares to the co-founders. Notably, he stepped away from ownership in August 2023, which ended his role as the controlling stakeholder.

An updated data from the business register shows the fresh distribution of shares:

  • Mikheil Mshvildadze – 38% (now the largest shareholder)
  • Zurab Gumbaridze – 32.2%
  • Freedom Formula – 25%
  • Irakli Saghinadze – 2.5%
  • Giorgi Liponava – 2.5%

Such a shift in ownership took place after Mshvildadze acquired the extra 10% from Liponaba and Saghinadze, solidifying his position as the primary stakeholder.

Before the transfer, the shares were distributed as follows:

  • David Kezerashvili – 26%
  • Mikheil Mshvildadze – 12.25%
  • Irakli Saghinadze – 12.25%
  • Zurab Gumbaridze – 12.25%
  • Giorgi Liponava – 12.25%
  • Freedom Formula – 25%

With the mentioned latest changes, Kezerashvili is officially out of the company, which is a significant change in Formula’s ownership structure.
