A middle-aged man was found shot dead in his car near the village of Ajaristskali in Georgia’s Khelvachauri municipality late last night.
Preliminary information is that the man was discovered inside his vehicle near a river, having sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed to InterpressNews that an investigation is underway. Authorities have launched a probe under Articles 108 and 236 of the Georgian Criminal Code, which relate to premeditated murder and the illegal acquisition, storage, and possession of firearms and ammunition.
