On Friday, May 16, Tbilisi’s Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena will host a highly anticipated Legends Series match between Georgia’s veteran team, GEO11, and the FC Barcelona Legends. The match is set to kick off at 7:00 PM local time.
GEO11, coached by Temur Ketsbaia, features notable Georgian footballers such as Shota Arveladze, Kakha Kaladze, and Giorgi Nemsadze. The Barcelona Legends squad includes football icons like Ronaldinho, Edgar Davids, and Ludovic Giuly, under the guidance of coach Albert Ferrer.
Adding to the event’s allure, the UEFA Champions League Trophy will be present at the stadium. Fans will have the opportunity to view and photograph the trophy in the designated fan zone.
For those unable to attend in person, the match will be broadcast live on Georgia’s GPB First Channel and First Channel Sport, as well as on Barça One. Tickets are available for purchase through official platforms.
Dinamo Arena, Georgia’s largest stadium with a capacity of over 54,000, has previously hosted significant matches, including the 2015 UEFA Super Cup where Barcelona triumphed over Sevilla 5–4 in extra time.
