At the European Championship in Warsaw, the Georgian wrestler defeated Armenian Malkhas Amoyan 4: 1 in the final of the European Championship (72 kg) and won the first gold medal of the Georgian Greco-Roman wrestling team.
Aivengo Rikadze is the bronze prize winner of the European Championship. In the decisive match (82 kg), the debutant of the European Championship defeated the Armenian Karapet Chalyan 3: 2.
At the European Championship in Warsaw, the Georgian Greco-Roman wrestling team won 1 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals and took third place in the team standings.
