TSU students, students and young people of different universities claim that they will camp in the courtyard of Tbilisi State University and “will continue the local protest until new elections are held.”
As the student Davit Chkhobadze explained, the rector of Tbilisi State University, academician Jaba Samushia, should take responsibility and resign from his position, as he agreed to give the university space to the “robocops” so they could plan to disperse the rally.
“Tbilisi State University is the center of protest. Students and young people from different universities will camp in the courtyard of TSU and continue local protest until new elections are held and the demands of the Georgian people are met. The plan is a daily protest, a movement, we must wear out Ivanishvili’s regime and force him to call elections. Jaba Samusia should take responsibility for the vandalism we saw with the “robocops” in the university yard. This building was controlled by the Ministry of Internal Affairs”, said TSU student Davit Chkhobadze.
