On the concluding day of the 2024 Paralympics, Georgian para powerlifter Akaki Jincharadze – competing in the 107+ kg weight category – won a bronze medal, marking a historic achievement for the Georgian team.
The Georgian Paralympic team comprised 14 athletes competing in six different sports. Giga Ochkhikidze secured gold in shot put, while silver and bronze medals were won by Vladimir Chincharauli, Zurab Zurabiani, Giorgi Kaldani, Ana Japaridze, Nino Tibilashvili, and Ina Kaldani in rifle shooting, para judo, para taekwondo, wheelchair fencing, and para judo, respectively.
