The President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, awarded UFC Georgian athlete Ilia Topuria with the Order of Honor.
The President’s press service says the winner of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in sub-light weight, Georgian professional fighter Ilia Topuria was awarded for his special personal contribution to the promotion of mixed martial arts in Georgia and his successful sports activities.
The awarding ceremony was held in the Orbeliani palace. The state award was personally handed over to Ilia Tofuria by the President of Georgia.
