The ropeway connecting Tbilisi State University 10th Building (Maglivi) to Bagebi has been rehabilitated. It will serve the travelers from April 20, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze said at the city government meeting on March 24.
“The ropeway, existing for several decades already in the vicinity of Bagebi, connecting it to the Maglivi university building, has been rehabilitated. The works were carried out by the Ministry of Economy,” Kaladze said.
He added that the 320-meter-long ropeway will now be handed over to Tbilisi City Hall. At the same time, technical inspections, security systems maintenance, auditing works are underway. After the works are completed, the ropeway will serve those interested.
