The doctors held a demonstration near the presidential administration and called on the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, to pardon Mikheil Saakashvili.
“What we want to say is that we should stop killing presidents. History should not be repeated, we should allow the country to take its place in the European family. Recent events have shown everyone what a difficult situation Misha is in, my brother, our brother. His health is at risk. We should show the world where we are going,” said Saakashvili’s brother Davit Saakashvili.
Today a solidarity rally supporting Saakashvili will be held in eight cities of the country.
